Salesforce Functional Lead profile – Fully Remote

We’re seeking a self-motivated Director of Salesforce to lead our team of analyst, developers, and architects for our CRM platform and product owners. This exciting role will serve as a key subject matter expert for our CRM product and platform capabilities, drive process standardization that will enable the sales, service, marketing, e-Commerce and analytics teams to optimize their efforts by utilizing systems and resources in the best possible way. Our ideal candidate would have experience in marketing automation tools, ideally with Adobe Marketo, and is relationship-oriented with a background in building and leading a Salesforce.com center of excellence across all clouds. WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

IN THIS POSITION, YOU WILL GET TO:

  • Lead, support, and work with business leaders in defining the Salesforce Roadmap, including defining system enhancements for short- and long-term planning
  • Coach, mentor, and manage a skilled team of Salesforce Enterprise team members, including managing performance, goals, and succession planning etc.
  • Develop and maintain governance for use of CRM system (Salesforce.com) and ensure alignment with other relevant commercial processes
  • Drive continuous development/improvement of the CRM system (Salesforce.com) in close coordination with the sales, marketing, customer solutions, and IT leaders.
  • Manage the Marketing Automation platform (Adobe Marketo platform) to support our go to market marketing strategy
  • Manage the ongoing operational support for Salesforce.com for the company, including managing commissions, contracts, training and performance metrics
  • Conduct monthly SF User Group meetings to improve user adoption and increase excitement around SFDC
  • Build standard, scalable commercial excellence processes to drive efficiencies and increase revenue for sales, marketing, engineering and customer service (i.e.; lead management processes, SIP reporting, Sales reporting, etc.)
  • Drive the creation and standardization of automated reports for trending analysis and measure effectiveness
  • Provide analytical data and KPI performance to improve leadership visibility into business decisions for growth and profitability
  • Support/drive sales focus to grow opportunity pipeline through SFDC quality/effectiveness in the regions and lead SFDC implementation
  • Interface with global leaders from sales and marketing to review commercial opportunities status and reporting in SFDC
  • Lead other assigned projects and task as needed

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, business or a related field is required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years’ working experience and 8 years’ experience on the Salesforce Platform
  • Salesforce ADMIN201 Certification, + Sales Cloud or Service Cloud certifications
  • Experience in marketing automation tools, preferably Adobe Marketo.
  • Experience building B2B and B2C eCommerce solutions in Salesforce commerce
  • Experience with SF reporting, analytics, and/or design inclusive of Einstein
  • Working knowledge and experience implementing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, custom applications
  • Understands system integration concepts & data modeling
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with leaders and peers
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and able to grasp concepts quickly
  • Experience in Agile delivery methodologies

Salesforce Functional Lead Main things:

  • Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, and Sales Cloud Consultant certifications required, advanced certifications preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce license allocation, optimization, and swap practices
  • 10+ years’ experience supporting Salesforce Sales Cloud or Service Cloud in a Lightning enabled environment (or a combination of both). Experience with Communities, Commerce Cloud, and/or CPQ is nice to have.
